North Wales Classic Car Show, Bodelwyddan Castle, Rhyl

You know a car show is going to be good when as your queuing to get in a Noble M12 drives past and parks up next to a convertible Lamborghini Gallardo. Not only that but for a donation to charity you can be in the passenger seat for a short drive.

Ran by the same organiser behind the Lancashire Classic Car show I went to a few weeks ago, the layout was the same ie all the cars, apart from a few club stands here and there, all in the mix together leading to a surprise round every bumper. Defiantly a show that needs you attention to roam all the way round.

The highlight for me was the very rare (only 33 made) Clan Clover, then discovered the lucky owner also had a Clan Crusader and another rare find.

It was also nice to see so many Vauxhall’s (the event was run in conjunction with a North West Vauxhall - Opel Day) particularly the retro metal in the form of a MK1 Astra (not your usual GTE) and 4 door Nova.

Another great show and the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon, and the general chat to the owners coming over the PA System throughout the day once again just added to the relaxed feel of the event.
