Classic and Sports Car show, Tatton Park.

Well after the very bad weather yesterday I was expecting this to be a bit of a washout, to my surprise with good weather the event was packed with cars. I’m not sure how the organisers did it but the mud I was expecting wasn’t there and the walk round with my little one in tow (literally she was in her Radio Flyer Wagon) was not the expected muddy affair. I also get the feeling the most of the attendee’s, my self included, had gone there due to the bank holiday weekend and sunny weather because it was packed with people mulling around.

So to the show, there was something for everyone, from Mini’s to Mustangs and even a Sinclair C5!!!! With modern classics like Mazda MX5s shoulder to shoulder with 1930’s Rolls Royces and even a bit of replica Ferrari thrown into the mix spread across the vast show ground a few hours are easily lost. I even found myself echoing my Dad, when telling my daughter “Daddy used to have one of those” which means either I’m getting old!!!! Or modern classics are being more appreciated at these events. the V8 powered moggie (red one below) was especially nice and dont get me started on the huge autojumble-

  5. It has to be expensive! If that is your questions- yes and no! Bigger brands will charge you for the glossy and over-the-top marketing while we will provide you cheap sports tape albeit the same quality. Click to read

  6. Classic and sports car show usually witnesses a sizeable crowd irrespective of weather. People like to go to that show place with an aim to know the details of their different desired models at the same place. Such event is really a very good platform for showing up one’s beloved cars in public. The venue turns into a forum as different categories of people share their experiences physically. The show is not limited to only folks having cars. It is interesting to see that how a lot of people are passionate for their cars to exhibit them in shows without caring a heavy expense.
