Mazda Suitcase Car

I know what you’re thinking, “why is there a suitcase on The Petrol Stop how can that be rare or unusual let alone a car!!!” bear with me a minute. Let’s say you were a business man who travels around the world and needed to get from the airport to you meeting quickly, this is the problem that some Mazda engineers thought about during a design competition for its Engineering Department in 1991. Their solution? a suitcase that could transform into a car within seconds, well 10-15seconds to be precise.

Powered by a 40cc two stroke engine and capable of 27mph, it even had head lights, brake lights and indicators!!! The original car was decked out in a red, white and blue livery, however after a car park driving incident!!!! It was rebuilt using the black case in 1994. You just can't help but want one, its just a shame theres no actual luggage space!!!!
