I saw it often when I was at my first job in Tividale, West Midlands. I was a trainee garage mechanic and the garage next door had it in for repair occasionally. It belonged to a wheel manufacturer, 100+ who were in the next street as their promotional vehicle. It was powered by a tuned Pontiac 6.6 litre engine (as it could be directly fitted onto the GM transmission) with only one live rear axle so it was a 6x2. I saw it up on the ramp from underneath It was converted by a local BMW dealer. It was like a luxury 6 wheel pick up as it had no boot lid.
