Harley Davidson X90 Monkey Bike

When you hear the term Harley Davidson the image it conjures is big cruiser and that sound, ohhh that unmistakable sound of that rumbling lazy engine. However in the early 70’s they built a small budget bike, not only that a monkey bike, a two stroke monkey bike!!!!!

With a small 50cc engine with about 1.5bhp with a four gear mini bike, this version first built in 1973 until 75 had a folding handlebars to make it easier to transport in the back of your car. One more okay it wasn't actually a Harley, it was actually built under license by Italian builder Aermacchi and sold as the first step into riding freedom of a bigger real Harley.  I would love to own one of these or better build one as a project as it can’t be any further from the image you would normally think.
