Lotus Etna

Could this have been the replacement of the legendary Esprit? Well this was a concept displayed at the Birmingham Motorshow in 1984 although it wasn’t a drivable at the time.

Move forward to 2008 and it underwent a full restoration and modifications to have its missing V8 fitted making this finally a drivable car. Back in the day it created such a stir but looking back at it the clean wedge shape would have a limited shelf life. To find out what went into the restoration head over to the Octane magazine website.
