I know a 3 wheel BMW that isn’t a bubble car!!!!! Built between 1932 and
34, it was sold as a delivery vehicle. The F76 was fitted with a 192cc single
cylinder 6bhp bike engine, this meant it fell under the 200cc limit meaning it
was license free for use on the road. The F79 though had a 398cc engine with
12bhp but was a licensed vehicle. In total 600 trikes were built, 250 F76’s and
350 F79’s.
Now these were very basic, for the entry level all you got was a speedo
and a horn, everything else, windshield, windshield wipers, driver's cab, doors,
spare wheel, spare wheel holder and Jack were all extras. As were alternative
load area configurations.
