Bond Trailer Tent

Right first off we’re classing this as one of the largest optional extras I suppose you could get, it’s also one of the rarest!!!!

In the 60’s Bond specialised in 3 wheel micro cars for the UK market, with the Bond Bug the most famous. In 1963 they produced a very basic and lightweight pop up trailer tent designed to be towed behind these small and low powered cars. Designed as a clam shell, it would open up with additional legs deployed, the tent could then be put up. Produced for just one year only 165 were built, instability when it was erected in high winds seems to have contributed to its short production run.

There currently one for sale, fully restored and yours for just under£3000.
