In fact it was far more than just a scooter, it also combined the versatility of an off road bike, well a soft road bike. All wrapped up in that enclosed body so as to make it look modern and more accessible to non-bikers. To make it easier to ride its 90cc 2 stroke motor was hooked up to an automatic gearbox with no clutch, instead changing gear was simply pushing a button.
As you can imagine due to its ease of use and small size it fitted well on the back of camper vans. It also became the form of transport for pit crews everywhere.
