The X3 looks impressive, it’s even more impressive when you learn it was built as part by students at School of Industrial Engineering (FEI) in São Paulo, Brazil. It was showcased at the 1972 São Paulo motor show to high acclaim.
The car was developed over the years with the engine and transmission
being replaced with “Brazilian” derived units over the original US V8. The final
power output was 215bhp. The car remains at the FEI where it was built but with
a new green paint job.
To be honest to learn more about the school, its founder and this car
