It may be a little quiet on here for the next week or so as we’ll be off on holiday, but don’t worry I’ll be dropping in on a few interesting places so be expecting some awesome cars when I get back

Spartan Starcraft Camper

This had to one of the coolest retro campers out there, and to be honest if I had a few grand free I’d seriously be tempted by the two currently for sale on ebay. What’s not to like, cool looks, over cab sleeping compartment, 4 berth and oh 6 wheels. To the fair it’s all about the wheels.

Random Video- Chevrolet Motor Companies Presents “Master Hands”

In 1936 there were only 25 million cars on the streets of America and car production was in full swing. This I suppose documentary be Chevy shows the whole process from creating die’s and moulds to a cars going through the production line with everything that involves. Showing engines being cast, panels moulded chassis welded. One of the most fascinating parts was watching the machines on the production line working perfectly in sequence with the men and their hand tools.

Well worth 25 minutes of your time.

Audi Jaray “Ugly Duckling”

I was at the Alltypes show at Bodelwyddan Castle last weekend, there early as I was on a club stand and I was watching an enclosed transporter pull up in front of the Club Audi stand, thinking “someone must have too much time on their hands” my jaw hit the floor when this rolled out of the back. The Audi 1923 Jaray “Ugly Duckling” recreation you know the one from the recent TV advert, it was on load from Audi UK and what a scoop to have on your club stand.

Alltypes, Bodelwyddan Castle

With guaranteed good weather clubs and show cars descended on Bodelwyddan Castle for one of the best VW shows in the north, if not the UK. I was there representing the Scirocco Register with my trusty Mk2 so an early start was needed for a full day at the show.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

We all know the statistics of the Veyron a car that gained instant iconic notoriety with truly unbelievable numbers on its release in 2005. This one though went out to retake the record that had made it infamous, fastest production car in the world. It reset the number at 267.856 mph, with its increased power of 1184bhp from its  8 ltr W16 engine in 2010.

Ferrari 400 Straman Convertible

The Ferrari 400 wasn’t received well with its three box silhouette and lack of power it didn’t make the best sellers list back at the Italian’s factory. Personally I really liked it, a proper GT car for the 80’s but I suppose it was competing at a time of supercars. However if you wanted a Ferrari sports car that had four seats and let you enjoy the sun then Straman could help you out.

Harley Davidson X90 Monkey Bike

When you hear the term Harley Davidson the image it conjures is big cruiser and that sound, ohhh that unmistakable sound of that rumbling lazy engine. However in the early 70’s they built a small budget bike, not only that a monkey bike, a two stroke monkey bike!!!!!
