I know what you’re thinking, “why is there a suitcase on The Petrol Stop how can that be rare or unusual let alone a car!!!” bear with me a minute. Let’s say you were a business man who travels around the world and needed to get from the airport to you meeting quickly, this is the problem that some Mazda engineers thought about during a design competition for its Engineering Department in 1991. Their solution? a suitcase that could transform into a car within seconds, well 10-15seconds to be precise.

But unlike most mule’s it was also used to determine if there was a future for plastic bodied cars. Designed by Toyo Kogyo Company, it also doubled as a high speed test bed for future safety features.
