Mitsubishi Debonair V 3000 Royal AMG

When you think AMG you instantly think high performance, high horse power and high cost Mercedes but in 1986 Mitsubishi teamed up with them on a production project of their executive car the Debonair. AMG took the 3ltr, 200bhp, V6 front wheel drive barge and did nothing with the engine not a single thing. That’s right its bone stock just like the car it’s based on.

Seat Raider / Anibal Podadera

With Seat’s first fully independently designed and built car from Fiat, the Ibiza in the bag and selling well Spanish Francisco Podadera proposed a coupe version to take in the Toyota MR2 and Fiat X1/9. Not only did he propose it he also built prototype, which apart from having its rear roof and seats removed also had a severe nose job that added those much needed 80’s pop up lights and 6”. As you can see the body was also seriously re-worked and replaced with fiberglass.

Dodge Bumper Car

There are some truly awesome things that come up for sale ebay, some that take you back to when you were a kid like an old school plastic skateboards or BMX’s in blue and yellow (you know the ones).  But this takes you back to when you went to the fair coming to town was the highlight of the year and the bumper cars. Where else could you drive a car at you mate for a laugh (still love it today 20 years later). I also remember thinking, if only I could drive one of those on the road.
